Bwindi impenetrable national park is a typical tropical rain forest with a mean annual temperature range of a minimum of 7-15 degrees celsius to located about 480 kilometres from the capital city- Kampala and can take between 7-8 hours of driving to this place. Though along, the journey is smooth and a murram road as you come close to the forest. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can also be accessed from Queen Elizabeth National Park, through the Ishasha sector that is approximately a 3-4 hour drive.

You will meet our Guide at Entebbe international airport and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest which is approximately 7-8 hours. We shall have several stopovers for relaxing and lunch.

Early breakfast at the lodge
- Report to the park headquarters for briefing and allocation of gorilla families to trek
- Start trekking with rangers to locate your allocated gorilla family
- Spend one hour with the gorillas, observing and taking photos
- Return to the lodge for lunch and rest
- Take a community tour or visit the Batwa pygmies in the evening
- Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge
